Formerly a Subsea Projects Manager at Chevron specializing in subsea well intervention systems, he also worked as a design engineer at NOV and Baker Hughes. A Mechanical Engineer, he brings extensive offshore energy expertise to OceanWell.
Mechanical engineer with 15 years’ experience in engineering, construction, and project management. Served six years as an engineer in the US Army and later as a project manager in the US Army Corps of Engineers, specializing in coastal planning.

Alex’s work focuses on aligning technical, regulatory, and operational readiness with project development timelines, and is responsible for advancing the maturity and readiness across full project lifecycles at OceanWell. Alex also leads comprehensive desktop studies and collaborates closely with a broad range of external stakeholders, including regulators, project engineers, business development teams, and public interest groups.

Electrical engineer with over 10 years of experience in the engineering, construction and development of large-scale energy infrastructure projects, including 6 years dedicated to offshore wind. He has developed deep expertise in connecting marine structures to onshore facilities, covering both technical engineering and environmental permitting. He serves as Technical Lead on OceanWell's Nice project, ensuring alignment between engineering constraints, regulatory requirements and project delivery objectives.
Commercial
Formerly Executive Director at the Association of California Water Agencies and Deputy General Manager at Metropolitan Water District of Los Angeles. Tim is an economist and a Visiting Fellow at Stanford University who’s spent over 40 years of his career in water in California, bringing invaluable expertise to OceanWell.
Gaëtane Suzenet has 25 years of experience in the water sector across innovation, funding, and policy. For the past 15 years, she has helped European start-ups and scale-ups secure funding, expand, and navigate regulation. She is President of the European Water Tech Accelerator and has contributed to several EU start-up programmes. Previously, she led a major water innovation cluster in France and served as European Affairs Director at Water UK. She has also held board roles and worked with investment funds on financing and market development.
Jamie is a former capital markets specialist and a founding team member of OceanWell. Based in Europe, he leads the OceanWell France project, helping advance the company’s mission to combat water scarcity through scalable and sustainable technology.
Environment
A longtime member of the environmental community and fierce advocate for environmental & social justice issues. She has been the long-time Chair of Sierra Club's Water Committee in California.
