By harnessing natural pressure to drive the process, our water production is energy-efficient, using significantly less than traditional desalination
Subsea water farms are effectively invisible, eliminating the need for a large plant, preserving natural landscapes, while ensuring coastal ecosystems remain undisturbed.
Our LifeSafeTM system protects marine life from impingement, and does not produce a strong brine concentration, protecting biodiversity and ecological balance.
Scalable to any size, our modular water farms can be quickly installed and expanded. This flexibility ensures that the project can adapt to increasing water needs on-demand.
Water farms can directly integrate with the grid onshore, or with renewable sources of power, supporting the grid's transition to cleaner energy solutions.
Operating at depth, water farms are protected from adverse weather events, floods, and algae blooms, generating a reliable, supply of high-quality fresh water.

OceanWell is collaborating with Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in Southern California to build the first commercial water farm. Together we aim to introduce a high-quality and cost-effective water supply to the California market.
25 public water agencies have participated in the development of the technology. 8 of which have signed an LOI and reimbursement agreement for a feasibility study into an inland pipeline distribution system to deliver water directly to their service areas.

We believe in working with nature, not against it. Driven by our engineering team in California, every design decision was made with an “environment-first” philosophy.
